Summer Princess Camps

All princesses are welcome to join us for a week or more

of dance, games, and crafts during the summer!

Week 1:June 3-7, Week 2: July 8-12, Week 3: August 5-9

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Ages:  3 – 8 (must be potty trained)

Cost:  $165 per week

WHAT TO WEAR:

Princesses can wear anything they would like!  Princess attire (ball gowns, dress ups, etc.), dance wear, party dresses.   Please also bring socks and/or ballet shoes.

WHAT TO BRING: 

Please bring a water bottle and lunch Monday through Thursday.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The princesses will learn with arts and crafts, have ballet and jazz dance class, will play games, and will learn a dance routine.  We will provide a mid-morning snack Monday thru Friday.  On Friday we will have a pizza party and a performance at 12:30 p.m.!

HOW TO REGISTER:

Sign-up at the front desk or call (512) 528-0900 to register over the phone.  A $50 deposit is due at the time of registration.  Princesses outside of the dance studio are also welcome, so encourage your friends to sign up!

MAKE UP CLASSES

Due to the recent studio move, a few classes were canceled. If your dancer missed a class and would like to make up a class, please feel free to join one of the following OPTIONAL classes (these make up classes are not at all required). If you choose to attend one of the make up classes, please respond to this email with your dancer name, class time, and desired make up class date.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW HOME!

As you know, recently we made the decision to move the dance studio to a new location. After just one week in the new space, we have made HUGE improvements and hope that you will take a peek around in the coming days to see all of the great things that our new studio has to offer your children.

MORE SPACE
Not only do we have more square footage overall, but each dance studio room is larger and we have an additional dance studio that has been allocated for solo practices and/or teacher choreography. The “stretching room” (the carpeted area between the lobby and the dance studios) has been the overall favorite addition for the dancers. They can stretch, eat, do homework, catch up with friends, etc. in their own space…they LOVE it! It is also a great addition for the younger families where the siblings can play games and will soon be able to watch movies.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
We chose to eliminate “viewing windows” from the new space and opted for a live feed video surveillance system so that parents can watch their children dance. The windows were distracting to the students and teachers and we have already noticed that our dancers are performing with more emotion without the distraction. Our new system will be installed this week with large monitors in both the lobby and stretching room area.

OTHER RENOVATIONS
If you have watched over the past week, we have made vast improvements to the space. The entire studio has been repainted, the bathrooms remodeled, new carpet, etc. In the upcoming week, we will have new floors installed in Studio B (the large purple room) and trophy shelves to house the hundreds of awards that our competition dance team has received. Building and street signage will go up later this month, and we will be officially settled into our new home!

MAKEUP CLASSES
Amazingly enough, we only had a few days where we did not hold classes during the location transition. If your dancer missed a class and would like to join a makeup class, please check our website for detailed class time and/or pick up a flyer at the front desk with the same information.  Please note that we will need advance notice of make-up class attendance, so please email me if you plan on attending.  (see next email)

We are so thankful that you have been patient with us during this transition. It has actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise since the new space fits our growing needs so much better. We hope that you and your dancer will continue to be a part of the Dance eMotions family and look forward to everyone enjoying the new space.

Also, we are excited to announce a new summer program, Dance Drop Off!  Check it out:

This summer we are offering dance/babysitting so parents can drop their little ones off and have a few hours to run errands and have some “me” time. The children will spend their time dancing, playing games and even doing a craft.  The kids will also have snack time (provided by Dance eMotions) and lunch time (lunch brought from home) on Fridays.

Ages: 3 and up (all children must be potty trained)

Dates:  Every Friday from 9am-1pm

Every Saturday from 2pm-5pm

June 4-August 18

Cost:           $35/ Friday

$25/ Saturday

This is a week-by-week class.  There is a one-time summer registration fee of $15.  (If registered for summer classes, there is no additional registration fee.)

We hope your kids join us!  We’ll have lots of fun!!

Don’t forget that our recital fees are due November 19th!
